Token Pool
What is the token pool?
When we talk about the token pool, we simply mean a certain amount of monthly tokens that Aki makes available to users to consume for free. All free user allowances that reset every 24 hours consume tokens from this pool.
Based on Aki's monthly usage, this free allowance can grow or shrink during the month. Users who have recharged at least 14 credits during the last 30 days always have priority over the token pool and may receive a greater benefit in their free allowance, even if they have spent all their credits.
What is a token?
A token is the smallest unit of text that an AI model processes. It can be a word, part of a word, or a symbol. Every time a message is sent or a response is received, tokens are consumed from both the query and the generated response. The cost of these tokens depends on the length of your message, the length of the response provided by the model, and the intelligence of the model in question.
