Introducing Aki Agent Studio: desktop agents with a local runtime
Aki Agent Studio is an experimental desktop product for agents, plugins, skills and execution control.

Today we're introducing Aki Agent Studio, a new product line focused on desktop work for teams that need to operate agents with more technical control. The product is in experimental phase and under active development.
What Aki Agent Studio is
Aki Agent Studio is a desktop environment for creating, configuring and running agents with a local runtime. It's designed for more advanced workflows where combining speed, traceability and operational security matters. During this experimental phase, some features and product decisions may change.
Core capabilities
- Agent management with specific configuration for each agent.
- Local persistence of conversations, memory and operational state.
- Integrated infrastructure with MySQL and SSH plugins.
- Skills installable and activatable per agent based on context.
- Orchestration for multi-agent scenarios.
Control before execution
One of the launch focus areas is explicit control of sensitive actions. In plugin workflows, Studio allows approving or denying instructions before execution, to maintain human oversight where it matters most.
How it fits with Aki Agent Web
Aki Agent Studio doesn't replace the web experience: it complements it. The web version remains ideal for building and publishing projects quickly, while Studio targets advanced technical operation on desktop.
What's next
We'll continue improving skills integration, infrastructure workflows and orchestration tools to make working with agents increasingly robust and productive.
